Thelma, Louise's predecessor

We first started living out of our van in January 2017. We'd started ski racing for Great Britain, and were facing annual bills of £30,000. Accommodation alone can cost 200 Euros every single night during winter. Therefore, to save costs, we invested in Thelma, a 2004 Iveco Daily 3.5 medium wheel base van.

She was amazing and gave us such an improved quality of life - when the heating was working - in the mountains. We drove her far and unfortunately she died in 2018.

RIP Thelma. You'll always have a special place in our hearts.
